In a cozy corner of seventh grade geography class, a seemingly ordinary moment became the seed of an extraordinary love story. It was there that we first met, sharing laughs and stories, building a friendship that would become the foundation of something truly special. We couldn’t have known it then, but those early days were just the beginning of our incredible journey together.

Years drifted by, and high school brought us back together in an unexpected twist of fate. It was our sophomore year, 2020, and we started dating just a month before the world changed. In the midst of a global pandemic, our new relationship faced challenges neither of us could have anticipated. Navigating the complexities of dating during such unprecedented times, we found innovative ways to stay connected—through virtual movie nights, endless FaceTime calls, and heartfelt letters that bridged the physical distance between us.


As the world outside seemed to fall apart, our bond only grew stronger. We quickly realized that our love was not just a fleeting high school romance but something far deeper. We supported each other through the highs and lows, learning and growing together, both as individuals and as a couple. Our dreams intertwined as we decided to pursue a future in medicine, enrolling at the University of Arkansas, where we now walk the same campus paths, study in the same libraries, and share the same aspirations.


Our time at university has been a beautiful extension of our shared journey. From late-night study sessions to early morning coffee runs, we’ve faced every challenge and celebrated every success together. Our love has become a foundation upon which we both stand, steady and unwavering, as we strive to become the best versions of ourselves.


In our families, we have found a second home. My family has embraced him as their own, and his has welcomed me with open arms. We are not just two individuals in love; we are an integral part of each other’s lives, woven into the very fabric of our families


As we look to the future, our hearts are filled with excitement and hope. We dream of a life where our love continues to grow, where we support each other through the trials and triumphs of chiropractic and dental school, and where we build a future together, one filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities. Our journey began in a geography class, but it is destined to take us far beyond any map, guided by the love that we share and the dreams we hold dear.
